Perfect Pitch is an arcade game on www.flash-games.net. You are the grumbling grumpy groundsman. Armed only with your flatcap, roll up and a huge pile of turf, not to mention an equally huge bad mood, you must lay the new surface as fast as you can in time for Saturday’s big match. You can make your way round the ground using the arrow keys on your keyboard. You must avoid you enemies and pick up the power ups along the way. There are different enemies in different levels. You may collect a hipflask. You are a grumpy git at the best of times but a wee dram of groundsman’s grog turn you into a turf tinkerer’s worst nightmare. This power up pick-me-up allows you to literally eat your opponents for breakfast. There are no drugs testing in the grass growing so pile on the Bio-Gro at every chance you get. You will double the speed you can turf at. The pesky moles are your main adversary, they will tunnel around any unturfed area just waiting to poke their pointy noses out where they don’t belong. If your job was not tough enough, some joker of a fan will sneak into the stadium looking for souvenirs. He will take your turf away piece by piece if you let him. An uncontrollable tool is always a problem but the lunatic lawnmower is in a grass of its own. You should avoid its maniac machinations on your hallowed turf if you don’t want to get cut down to size. Shear terror lurks around the edges of your turf; watch out for these scissoring saboteurs if you don’t want to lose your toes. Good luck! |
